It was a fairy tale

It was just a fairy tale,
But everything in life is doomed to fail.

Living a fairy tale and waiting for the fairy godmother,
But me and fate had a fight with each other.

This happiness wasn’t meant to be,
And the princess of the ball isn’t going to be me.

The seed of hope was only starting to grow,
But fate then decided to be a foe.

Like a little flower that couldn’t stand the fire,
Yet had to go through it before it could retire.

One second can change it all,
Without preparing you for the fall.

You find yourself at the bottom of a deep hole,
And know at once you’ll never come out whole.

One second can make you happy and alive,
And then it’ll take payment by your life.

It breaks your spirit and your heart,
And leaves them broken apart.

For this no doctor can prescribe a cure,
But no can escape its lure.
