Ancient Death Summary Poem
Only a whisper glad
Out of the heart of the night
But the darkness has crept to dawning
And the world is wrapped in light
Only a lilting song
Out from the lips of a maid
But the world has turned to sunrise
And the desire in her heart has stayed
Too much has gone on
They’ve got to know who you are
Pointing fingers, pressing buttons
Now it’s gone too far
Eyes darker than dark
Hair blacker than black
The one with the pale wasted face
Something Aribeth lacks
As they grew and grew
Azshara liked mischief
Sneaking and scaring
No where near a plaintiff
Too much has gone on
They’ve got to know who you are
Pointing fingers, pressing buttons
Now it’s gone too far
Her sister enters the room
And knee’s shake from sight
Her mid-full wonder
Her heart with fright
When will the feeling stop
When did it start?
How can she listen to her mind?
Without breaking her heart
Too much has gone on
They’ve got to know who you are
Pointing fingers, pressing buttons
Now it’s gone too far
Azshara is so confused
What should she do?
She can’t think of anything
Except her point of view
Should she ignore her?
Or just give it time
She can’t think straight
Her heart controls her mind
Too much has gone on
They’ve got to know who you are
Pointing fingers, pressing buttons
Now it’s gone too far
The fog was gone
The wind billowed like a tattered curtain
The sky blazed like a huge furnace
Where gold melts into burning air, for certain
She was built on emotions
Trying to find the one she once adored
Trying to find her sister, Aribeth
To murder with her thinned blade sword
Too much has gone on
They’ve got to know who you are
Pointing fingers, pressing buttons
Now it’s gone too far
Well she tried to live without her
The tears fall from her eyes
She’s alone and feels empty
And torn apart inside
Out of the heart of the night
But the darkness has crept to dawning
And the world is wrapped in light
Only a lilting song
Out from the lips of a maid
But the world has turned to sunrise
And the desire in her heart has stayed
Too much has gone on

This started when my teacher assigned my class and me to write a ballad poem, had to be 10-20 stanzas long, just come up with our own and be creative. So I decided to write the ballad on the book I was already in the middle of writing. So the starter packages/brainstorm, on the setting and characters came easy to me. This is just the beginning of the actual book, so I didnt have to ruin the ending. Im actually not sure, myself, what the ending is, I just writing as I go. So please, enjoy.I also have stories, and hopefully, I will be writing a chapter and posting it up once a week, if you are interested.
