Teardrop Deathbed

Renegade whiplash,
Single flying spark.
I’m driving to the ocean,
It doesn’t matter where I park.
But I hope it’s at the bottom
Of the never ending sea
For drowning is the way
This nightmare made me leave.
Sweating, I wake up.
Look around the room,
I’m fine.
Drowning is the haunting way
That I hope I never die.
Breathing in the liquids,
And coughing up the air
Surrounded in blank symphony
As I lose my final life
The coldness of the water
Ties down my body still
I watch as my vision disperses
And my mind loses itself.
