That Titanic Night

1500 fell in, 6 survived
On that cold winter's night, so many died
Dead bodies floating in the Atlantic Sea
The death toll was high, too high for me
We've heard the stories from a reliable source
And in each one, the same cause
An iceberg so big made the Titanic take a dip
As it punctured this great 'unsinkable' ship
The band kept on playing, right to the end
On board the ship that no one could mend
The water rose, soon everyone knew
Despite the efforts of the crew
That whatever they did, whatever they said
So many of them would soon be dead
So I beg of you, remember that night
Titanic was weak, and lost the fight
Under pressure, she snapped in 2
Causing such a hullabuloo
And though it's all over, so many years ago
It still leaves people full of woe
So remember that night, so dark, so dank
Remember the night Titanic sank
