Shock Art

To shock and disgust someone,
that's easy to do, you know.
To go out of our way to sicken and
purge lunch from someone's
stomach is
not that impressive,
my friend.

and to paint these images may require
skill, but they lack
creativity. It's all too simple
showing a baby with guts strewn about;
You're no Picasso, I assure you.

And to write about one's self as
inferior and pitiful
does not constitute originality by
any means,
rather your proneness to
the little bullshits which
ail us all.

And yes,
It is art,
life is art
art is whatever you want it to be,
but art, like anything else,
can be shitty
and poorly done.
