See blue eyes

Sea blue eyes, such weary things,
So chilled to the bone by the song he sings
Of lovers and friends lost and betrayed
And the few broken hearts that have stayed

Yet there's hope in his voice, spring in his step
Despite all the horror he wont give up yet
But he fears the day that these are gone
And with a death rattle he'll finish his song

So please stand beside him, whisper love in his ear
Help grow his ambition and comfort his fears
And when he grows weary, gives up on us all
Be patient and caring pick him up with each fall.
