Te Amo

Te Amo

Downtown Barcelona,
A romantic night takes place,
Where two passionate lovers,
Gazing into each others face,

The tension is unbearable,
As they glance across the room,
Into one anothers eyes,
It cannot end so soon.

They were made to be together,
So as the music starts to play,
They take to the dance floor,
To tango the night away,

Her emotions turn to a whirlwind,
When she’s within his arms,
Naturally seduced by,
His Mediterranian charm,

Then, as the evening draws to a close,
He lowers to one knee,
Pulls out a rose from his tuxedo jacket,
And says ‘ I need to express my love to thee’,

Te amo Senorita,
I need you in my life,
Te amo so indearly,
Will you be my wife

The ballroom falls to silence,
What is going to unfold?
This brunette Spanish diamond
Will have her future told,

She accepts the rose off her lover,
And, raising it above her head,
She exclaims in her soft, smooth voice,
Te amo Te amo, Senior…I’d love to marry you instead.

Embrace each other so intimately,
There, in the centre of the ballroom,
The room touched with all the romance,
And sweet music plays its tune,

As these twon romantic lovers,
Gaze into each others eyes,
And whisper to each other softly,
For theres no need to say goodbyes,
And sure enough, two weeks later,
Outside the Sagrada Famillia they kiss,
Now a charming young couple,
Any persons wish,

And it began in Downtown Barcelona,
Where Te amo was the word,
And to this day this spanish phrase,
Is very really unheard.
