Humiliation

You cursed me in a rapid- fire language,
But I did not speak;
For I do not wish to pour blood and engage
In a war so foul and sadistic.

You discriminated me in front of many people,
And filled my heart with despair.
But still, I couldn't speak, not because I'm feeble.
It's out of respect left I had for you adore.

My mind kept rolling, as I tried to fight not,
But your mouth kept on talking vulgar;
And I thought I've had enough!
I laid my feet on the floor and tasted sugar.

My idiocy that you took for granted!
My weakness that you took advantage of!
How dare you feel as if you're kind and wanted?
Your wit may be grand, but your heart's filled with hoax.
