Children Art

The walls gleamed with pride
Happy to have its many rooms filled with giggling, goofy, groups of children
Happy faces of elder people lined the walls
Watching children play
Drawing black on teapots
Clack, clack
Crayons laid down on a table and picked back up again
Colored kaleidoscopes of color, each with its own face
Shells wandered around with a young child in search of adventure
A man and girl sat painting trees
In the hues of a very noisy day
Tap, tap
Little feet moving along the hallways
A wonderful, whimsical, welcoming day
At the art museum

In my creative writing class we wrote a poem based off a article. My article was about the monthly free day at the local art museum and how they offer crafts for children. Enjoy!
