Midnight March

I was astonished
For it was a cool autumn night
The land was serene
And the moon was bright

As beautiful as it was
My spirit felt misshapen and arched
Because this divine time
Was chosen for our midnight march

I am a slave
Not the kind taken during 1612
But the ones in the 20th century
Who experienced earth’s manmade hell

I am Elie the Israelite
We are called the Children of God
We were captured by Satan’s associates
Demons who were crooked and odd

I call these humans that
Because their minds and hearts do not exist
They follow their leader Hitler
Like lost sheep in the mist

We travel to concentration camps
To call it a home I would not dare
It is more like a labor and torture chamber
Created by Lucifer’s worse nightmares

We marched to new camps whenever told
Those who can’t shall die
Because they blow up all evidence
So they can say it’s existence was a lie

God allowing this to happen
I wonder why
Maybe he is trying to test us
So we will be ready to join him in his kingdom in the sky

So I say to myself
That I should not whine and mope
Because as long as I keep my faith up
There will always be hope
