The Motions

You’re always saying what I could be if I only tried,
But why would I?
I’m just going through the motions of this everyday routine;
It doesn’t mean anything to me.
We’re all just waiting to get out of here;
We’re waiting to start our lives
In some place far away where they won’t know our names.
