They say that if we do not learn our history
Then we are all doomed to repeat ourselves

That if we don't learn from out past
We will repeat our mistakes in the future

So they teach us our history
To show us our flaws

But we still make mistakes
And not new ones at all

They are the same old mistakes
Leading to the same old disasters

They are the same old flaws
that bring the world to a pause

So what's the point in learning our history here in the present day
If the whole wide word is just stuck on replay
