Temptation

Love is a cold thing
A temptation
It doesn’t last forever
Just a rotation

It’s seeming warmth
Draws you in
But empty promises
Hide within

People leave
People change
And that’s why love
Cannot stay

It’ll break your heart
And hold you tight
It’ll tear you up
With it’s vicious bite

So stay away from the hole
Also known as love
Because if you fall in
