Caged bird

Who do you think you are, acting,
Like you know me, when actually,
You don’t care, about how,
I feel, when
You act like this, when you,
Tear my feelings apart, with,
That dangerous knife, that,
Ruined my life, ruined my love,
That I once had for you,
You seemed to forget,
You seemed to want,
You seemed like you loved me,
When in truth, you lie,
Your lies cut into me, tearing,
My heart into shreds,
Into despair,
And you don’t care, what I want,
You think your all that,
When in reality,
You are nothing, nothing,
That matters anyway, I would,
Give you up any day, because,
Baby I love you, but loving you,
Kills me inside, pierces my heart,
Right through, and destroys,
What walls I had once built,
To protect myself from hurt,
But sadly, that was forgotten,
And destroyed, leaving me,
In a cage, like a beautiful bird,
And when its master commands it to sing,
But it waits for nothing, but freedom,
When she can’t escape, because,
She loves her master,
But when he is gone,
And she is alone,
She can live,
But she can’t,
As she is stuck, forever,
Until her dying day,
When she is wasting away, she will,
Be free.
