When I think I'm free
of the battle behind me
I run

I run from the depression
but I know it will find me again

It lurks behind corners
it hides in the shadows
waiting for the perfect moment
to strike

It's always there

Tapping my shoulder...
whispering in my ear...
trying to bring me back

But I will fight
and I will struggle
and I'm bound to suffer

But I will not quit
I will not loose
or go back

I will win
the battle inside

I will continue to fight
