Broken Toys

Broken little toys around
Rusted trains and shattered clowns

They feel abandoned, left all alone
They're no longer wanted and without a home

Seeing other broken toys
Eyes missing, as well as poise

They wonder why they left them here
The boys and girls they held so dear

"Don't they love me?" They think in sorrow
Hoping they'll come back tomorrow

But no one comes to save them here
They're left to rot and drown in fear.
