Time Falls
I can see the trees shiver,
As their shedding leaves quiver,
Falling slowly to the ground.
The trees just shiver without a sound.
I love the colors of the trees.
The different shades and hues do please.
I feel the cold and bitter breeze,
Adapt to the weather with an effortless ease.
I feel a difference in the air,
As if somethings lingering there.
My breath comes out, a warming mist,
Made visible when the temperatures kissed.
I welcome this arriving cold,
Accept the Fall as i take hold,
And cling to this cherished gold,
Because time will grow forever old.
As their shedding leaves quiver,
Falling slowly to the ground.
The trees just shiver without a sound.
I love the colors of the trees.
The different shades and hues do please.
I feel the cold and bitter breeze,
Adapt to the weather with an effortless ease.
I feel a difference in the air,
As if somethings lingering there.
My breath comes out, a warming mist,
Made visible when the temperatures kissed.
I welcome this arriving cold,
Accept the Fall as i take hold,
And cling to this cherished gold,
Because time will grow forever old.
