Time Will Tell

When time becomes the spaces between my fingers,
There’s nothing stopping me from having all the time I could never have.
But when there are no spaces in-between my fingers,
Then all the time in the world lies in her eyes.

When time becomes the silence in the air,
Time itself can be bent and broken.
But when the silence surpasses the air,
Time is beyond the spectrum of reality.

When time becomes the first star in the night,
It is lost among all its counterparts.
But when time becomes a constellation in the night,
It is marveled at as something beautiful.

When time becomes the seconds on the clock,
Well, the life isn’t what it’s meant to be.
But when time becomes a handless clock,
Time knows no bounds.
