Sudden Absorption

She met him
When she was still shy

Not even a whisper
Not even did she blink an eye

He warmed up to her
And she just couldn't quite see
That he liked her
And she began to like he

Still strangers to each other
They began to hang out

Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Is what their relationship was all about

Holding hands
And bashful kisses
He teased her
With hits and misses

So quickly did they blosom
Into a loving couple

She likes him dearly
And he yearns so subtle

The longer they are apart
The more her days start to suck
But he seems
That he don't give a fuck

Her feelings have been splayed
Across her chest

But his for her
Are still under rest

What is it that draws him to her?
She doesn't know for sure
