Pink Weekend Girl

I'm another weekend day,
Washed away with Sunday rain,
And sat upon the stove to dry me out.

It's been awhile,
Been so long now,
Turned the tv on to drown the sounds out,
Weekend girl that I am.

And I am
Just another shade of gray,
Another shade of pink,
A shade of black,
Trying to go back.
To the time when I was pink,
When we were blue,
When everyone had a job to do.
