Love Affrair with the Sun

I had a Love affair with the Sun
but He burned me up inside
now I'm all dried out
like dried fruit
Sun-spot kisses on my face
now I am warm to the touch
and not even the Moon
with Her beautiful cold glow
can cool my internal heat
