My Charity Case

Don't tell me I'm different, don't tell me I'm weird.
Don't tell me it's a world of disappointment I neared.
Your opinion is nothing but rain to the sea.
A sea of rejection that dose not concern me.
If I'm good at something, then I'll do it well.
It's my product, not image, I'm trying to sell.
Quality's in the design, not in the maker.
It's better than being a bootlegging-faker.
They wake up so early to dress for the job
Then slug around, a zombie in another mob
When the office becomes their brand new bedroom
Wonder where are the once who slept until noon
If you take a glance then walk out of the door
Then you're missing out, I think about it no more

Keep your insight, with your eyes I don't wanna see
I don't think I asked you to try to help me.
Connotation speaks a bit more than your meaning
Insulting and rude is the direction you're leaning.
'You look lazy, you won't reach your goal in life.'
'Trust me, I'll help you, I've been trough the strife.'
But I don't think ripping paper was much of a task
And the lessons of paper cuts did not last
There's one thing in particular that has me bidding adieu
Arrogance has you telling me to beg you
That's only allowed when your intentions are right
And you're not really willing to lend a hand in my fight
Are you trying to get me to where I wanna be?
I'm sorry, I didn't realize you cared about me
