A Time for Change

Let's clear our minds for a minute,
Breathe in deeply and back out.
Don't listen to what other people say;
They don't know what they're talking about.

We're going to do something more than this,
And we'll prove everybody else wrong.
Let's fight for what we know is the truth,
Maybe then others will start following along.

There's a whole world out there in front of us,
All we have to do is close our eyes and believe.
Ignore the bashes and denouncements they make,
They want to make it seem like we've been deceived.

We know what we want and just how to get it,
Now all we've got to do is stick with our guns.
If everyone cares enough they'll start to dummy up,
And realize that a new time for change has begun.
