Love

To love one, but to not be connected to one is indefinitely a lie.
For to love one, thy hearts must be combined
Each half severed and fused with the other
To not be connected is a love of body
A lust, a greed, a hunger
All of the things love is not.
To be connected is that of the mind and soul - not just of the heart
To be one being together,
Yet being two persons separate.
You live in each other and live with each other
Everything you have you share
Each breathe, each laugh, each tear, each pain
For to love one, with all you have, is the greatest gift to give
To give thyself to another and to trust
That they will hold your heart so dear,
Just has you have done with theirs.
To love one, but to not be connected to one is indefinitely a lie.
But to love one and to be connected to one is all the truth you need to know.
