the Grip tightens

I feel that grip around my heart again,
No more like I still feel it.
This time it’s worse
I swear it’s like you don’t know
My heart hurts just like yours
It feels the pain of the lonely emptiness too
I don’t know what to do
I keep dropping to my knees
But my body can’t sink as low as my heart
Face down on the floor ill remain
Until I can look in your eyes
Without feeling the grip getting tighter,
And my legs growing weaker.
Until my eyes don’t swell, till my mask of anger doesn’t shatter in your presence
