In a faraway Cornfield

Little girl,
lost herself,
in a faraway cornfield.

Sweet at eight, a curious girl,
she had the guts, to kill a squirrel,
an innocent, but evil one,
doesn't know, what's yet to come.

Little girl,
lost herself,
in a faraway cornfield.

Nine years old, barely grown,
lost more love, than you've ever known,
she's all alone, no place to go,
with a heart, empty you must know.

Little girl,
lost herself,
in a faraway cornfield.

Almost ten, life just gets worse,
all she does, is scream and curse,
throws black paint, all over her walls,
emptiness creeps inside her, as the night falls.

Little girl,
lost herself,
in a faraway cornfield.

Eleven now, dropped out of school,
cuts herself, blood like a pool,
wants to die, she's done with life,
tries every time she grabs a knife.

Little girl,
lost herself,
in a faraway cornfield.

Made it to twelve, cut off her hair,
there's no skin left, on her bones bare,
the saddest sight, you've ever seen,
she never made it to thirteen.

Little girl,
killed herself,
in a faraway cornfield.
