A forgotten girls room

Its been years since the heavens gave way
Years since she was taken away
Dim light shines now
through pink silk curtains
concealing the reality
the truth that is certain
The everlasting gloom
of a forgotten girls room

A mothers weak hopes drive her insane
Trying and trying to pull through the pain
open them every sunrise
close them every night
Sit and stare at the difference
just to relish the sight
In the motionless tome
of a forgotten girls room

Then suddenly one day, the movement stops
Daylight shines over the treetops
Yet the room stands
darkened and concealed
The mother gone
sent off to be "healed"
Dragged from the doom
of a forgotten girls room
