What Lurks Beneath
Take a look at me,
Tell me, What do you see?
A teen of norm?
Surrounded by friends to keep warm?
Is that what you see?
Then you didn't actually look at me,
Their was something you miss,
Hidden like a dark kiss,
You did not look into me,
And so you can't see a black sea,
You didn't look closely,
So you don't see me under my ghostly tree,
You can't hold a belief,
Of what lurks beneath.
Tell me, What do you see?
A teen of norm?
Surrounded by friends to keep warm?
Is that what you see?
Then you didn't actually look at me,
Their was something you miss,
Hidden like a dark kiss,
You did not look into me,
And so you can't see a black sea,
You didn't look closely,
So you don't see me under my ghostly tree,
You can't hold a belief,
Of what lurks beneath.
