Kristen

I watched from afar
The wonder that caught my eye.
She sits there, alone,
with no one to talk to.
I approach her;
Just want to talk.
Her silence is ignored,
I sit by her anyway.
She doesn't talk,
just sits.
I try not to look at her enchanting face.
If I do, a spell will be cast upon me.
Not like a wizard's or a witch's spell,
no, nothing like that.
It's more of a trance,
where everything around me seem to disappear.
A giggle from her wakes me up;
A stupid smile was on my face while I was charmed.
I blush and look away.
She laughs again.
Her beauty wasn't just in her face,
but in her smile and laugh as well.
As warm as can be,
I opened my mouth to talk,
but the lunch bell rang.
It signaled the end,
and she left my side.
But I had my hopes up.
Tomorrow I can see her again.
Sitting here,
Alone.
And I'll return to her once more,
make her laugh or smile.
It's all I seem to want to do,
when I see her again.
There, near the wall,
just sitting there.
