Radiance

The night fallen,
Filled with smooth mist,
A childish aura,
Filled with excitement,
Cancer between my lips,
Eminating heat,
Silver light radiating off of the snow,
Off of everything,

For once,
I feel,
Absolutely radiant,
Fallen,
Like the ice clinging to the ground,
Skin almost the color of the walls,
Couldnt imagine being anywhere but here,

Imagining your arms around my waist again,
The moment would be perfect,
Your silk hair brushing my face,
Ice eyes smirking into mine,
With an arrogance that was all your own,
Id stare back with childlike wonder,
Wondering,
Why was my heart pounding,
My legs shaking,
My fingers aching to brush your skin,

Your arms pulling my close,
Laughing into my ear,
Voice raspy with smoke,
Blowing into the air like mist,
If you would grace me with a smile,
My heart would stop,

I almost wish i was dead now,
Your absence hanging in the air,
Awkward and uncomfortable,
I feel like we belonged,
Even if we werent together,
I wonder sometimes,
Was it her you pictured in your arms?
The way now i picture you?

Desperate for a touch like yours,
Icy,
Mixed with fireworks,
Enough to make muddy eyes light up,
With you,
I felt beautiful,
Invincible,
Perfection
