The clock struck twelve
And the poisoned apple fell
Down the tower stairs
But I, weighed down by my hair
Could not catch it.
Resuming my spinning
I discovered a treasure
A ruby seeping from underneath my skin
Marveling at its beauty, I suddenly fell victim to
A deep sleep, time passing one hundred years
Dreaming of nothing, my heart waiting for my prince to come
