Goodbye Old Me. Hello Uncertainty.

Goodbye old me,
Though I loved all of your generosity and hospitality,
I can't deal with your instability anymore.
I know you loved my ways,
but everyone must change
in order to be okay.
And even though your heart gave a steady beat,
I was born to drum out of time, and
Play a different rhyme.
Goodbye old world,
Goodbye to the places I once knew
And the times I went through.
I cried many a time in that land,
But I think I am ready to let it all go.
I will take a leap and maybe
I will land in the wide and vast blue sea,
Water covering first my knees then all of me.
Fall has turned into winter, and winter to Spring,
And I am left standing without all of those sinful things.
Goodbye old friends,
Goodbye to those of you who decided I wasn't
Worth it in the end.
I guess I did do some things wrong,
Then again, who doesn't screw up a song?
