Only the Afraid Can't Say When They're Not Okay

Happy tears,
"Happy tears", She said.
Thinking the opposite;
It brewed inside her head.
She smiled a faint smile,
But it didn't reach her eyes,
Because she knows deep down,
That only weak minds tell lies.

Caffiene shakes,
"Just caffiene shakes", she trembled.
Raising the decafe to her lips,
Working the excuses she mumbled.
Digging herself further,
Into her tremouring mind's sight.
It's unstable and moving,
Crumbling her armour to shite.

Sauntering through each day,
On the thought it had an end.
Finding no path to fixing herself,
But always others to mend.
Stuck in the endless cycle,
She was convinced it wasn't possible;
Stitching her mentality together,
The parts she knew were terrible.

Thinking it'd be simpler,
She hibernated and strayed.
Pushing those who-were-once-close,
To the now-far-away.
One had seen enough,
Attempting to make her stay,
He came and sat beside her;
"It's only the afraid who can't say when they're not okay."
