Wished Apon
I would count the finger spaces
Between the stars
They are dwindling now
Their shines are so far
I licked the crescent into the moon
So now it is half shaded
It vanishes so soon
And oh! if I saw a shooting star
A thousand wishes would soar
Because I needed that hope back then
I did all of this when I was a kid
And I wish I was a kid again
So I could play in the grass
And watch the sky
Till the scarlet shower
Of sun ray beams turn to night
But I've been getting older
With to many worries
And I stopped wishing to those shooting stars
the ones passing over where me and you are
Because one of my wishes came true
When I was that little kid
And I need no more because my wish was you
Between the stars
They are dwindling now
Their shines are so far
I licked the crescent into the moon
So now it is half shaded
It vanishes so soon
And oh! if I saw a shooting star
A thousand wishes would soar
Because I needed that hope back then
I did all of this when I was a kid
And I wish I was a kid again
So I could play in the grass
And watch the sky
Till the scarlet shower
Of sun ray beams turn to night
But I've been getting older
With to many worries
And I stopped wishing to those shooting stars
the ones passing over where me and you are
Because one of my wishes came true
When I was that little kid
And I need no more because my wish was you
