Virgin

Her lips remain unopened as she sits in the gentle sunlight.

Waiting for her time to come to bask in the warmth.

But her lips remain sealed,

For it is not her time yet.

And as the seasons begin to pass,

And her lips are still sealed as the harsh rays of summer burn.

Into her very being.

As fall sets a gentle cool upon the land,

Her lips remain sealed.

She was not coaxed by the sun.

Though she wished that it was still around.

As fall changes to winter,

Her virgin body lies dead underneath the unforgiving snow.

She will never get to bask in the glorious rays of sun.

She will never get to open up to the world.

She will forever remain,

A virgin.
