The day continues to play out like I plan
Not a single flaw in the blue prints
Until you speak to me
Your words are too sincere
My mind tells me it's a lie
My heart tells me it's the truth
But how can I ever be sure?

The message is plain and simple
'I never meant to hurt you'
It means too much to take as a joke
But who knows?
