Foul Play

Call out thine weaponry of wordplay,
Bring your hoard of lies and deceit.
Test upon me your trickery and foul-play,
Watch as my smile will rise and fall in defeat.

Lacking sense, most definitely it would seem,
Your beauty that reeks of poisonous cruelty.
How can one so inspiring be of such a scheme,
That you would hurt those who are filled with immense ambiguity?

Forgive me, if I do not understand nor comprehend,
Nay, do not forgive but forget, seeming as "what most enjoyed, contented least" by all
Shall bring us henceforth to this bitter end.
All indeed, yet remember thus, thine cruelty attends thine downfall.

And yet...

Let it be so, for I shall learn my lesson well time and time again.
Let it be so, for you will wilt in your own misery,
Let it be so! For the rains and showers of time will engulf you but then-
Let it be so; that you and I shall never encounter each other due to this twisted history.

It will be so, for I will heal while you shall collapse into the mountain of corpses that which are your kin, your fellow monsters that came before you.

The quote is from one of Shakespeare's Sonnets :)
Its a poem about someone that hurt me, which can clearly be seen. But I hope you enjoy or can relate to it, for even the smartest of us, or most emotionless, get tricked time and time again. But we get right back up. <3
