On Her Angel's Wings

There she sat.
On an angel’s wing.
Kneeling on the ground.
Crying.

She knows not of what’s behind,
The door she never thought to open.
Now all that’s of her memory,
Is the life she left behind.

She cried out for some one to save her,
But it’s as if she is invisible.
What does she have to do,
To be recognizable.

Today’s world is all about fame and fortune,
A pretty face will get you anywhere.
Until she is willing to compromise her morals,
She sits carefully on her angel’s wings.
