Where once there was laughter
Now rests the memories of time.
Loving gestures turn into
only thoughts.
Glances and smiles are thrown around
like a paper air plane plummeting to the
Floor, but no one is there to catch them.
The wrinkles are never smoothed out.
The air plane can no longer fly.
Spinning around and around
In opposite directions, never to
Touch again.
Three years no longer matters.
