Always There?

In the darkest nights,
Depression hits me.
On the brightest days,
Depression sinks in.
Any time available,
Depression calls.
Any place you are,
Depression is near.
Behind a corner,
Depression stalks.
In the window,
Depression watches.
Where ever you are,
It's always there,
But are you?
Are you always there?

Being followed by an emotion,
It knows me better than you do,
But can you help?
Lend a hand?
Stay up late?
See my pain?
No one can.
Except depression its self.
Scared beyond belief,
A drawing that I can't erase,
A song that I can't turn off,
A memory that doesn't fade.
Where ever I am,
It's always there,
But are you?
Are you always there?

I pray to God that you are.
