They can't fly, walk through walls or read our minds
But they're much more than that
They're one of a kind.
There's Spiderman, Spawn and The Umbrella Academy too
But there's so much more that this band can do.
They're not superheroes on call
They're way beyond that, you see
They're an inspiration to all
and their passion is the key.
Whether they're being fathers or musicians
We know that they're to blame
For teaching us to think for ourselves
And to look past this bullshit called "fame."
Without them we'd be blinded
By the monster that is preached
If we stand up tall the way they do
The truth can be reached.
To the underdogs who conquered the world
Watch them breaking free
And there they go again
Being heroes to kids like me.
