Confines

The pink cushioned walls,

Cannot be escaped.

It is a labyrinth,

Of twists and turns,

That lead to nowhere.

I don't trust the signs.

And I live in fear,

Of the hidden monsters,

That lurk inside the corridors.

They come out at night,

And chase me down,

When I look for an exit.

But the inner confines,

Of my mind,

Cannot be escaped.

And I silently,

Scream.
