Lies

Lies

Take all your lies,
And glue them to a wall.
Cover them in plaster,
And watch them all fall.
I know what you've done.
You can't hide them anymore.
Everything you've told me,
Slowly falls to the floor.

Take some paint,
And try to cover them up.
But the lies you've told,
They're all just too much.

The night passes by,
And they slowly fill your room.
They cover the whole ground,
You can hardly move.
There's no way out.
You can't lie anymore.
You might as well,
Just drop dead to the floor.

So, hand over your latest books,
Let me look inside.
Don't even try to hide them.
We all know they're full of lies.

I flip to the main page,
That housed the biggest lie you ever told.
The one where you said, "I love you."
It no longer looks so bold.
