Devil's Laughter

Death
Isn't really peace
It's a black nothing in which you can escape for a little while,
Until the devil comes in.

Then the black turns so bright,
It burns,
And he laughs as you scream in agony
Wanting to leave but not finding a door.

Wishing for the black nothing,
Even if it wasn't peace,
To erase the devils laughs,
And stops the echoes of my pain.

Coming back to the present
And the blood running into the water,
Realizing the laughter was just my own,
Th screams not echoing in the nothingness,
Just my head.
