If I Could Be Anything...

If I could be anything, I might be a bird. I would fly above the clouds, and soar across the moon, and land on a tree, staring at you.

If I could be anything, I might be a fish. I would swim beneath the waves, and across the ocean blue. I would find my way to shore, find my way to you.

If I could be anything, I might be a tiger. Living in a jungle, never in a zoo, for you wouldn’t have to visit me. I would visit you.

If I could be anything, I could be a movie star, or maybe even two. But if I could be anything, I would be right next to you.
