My Angel, my Everything.

Time is a flimsy thing.
One minute time stands still,
and the next it rushes past.

I never would have thought that you, as simple as you are,
could have saved my wandering soul from the death it could have been.
My life had never been my own, but it had never been for another either.

I can't explain in words how empty I had felt.
But you, my small and gentle angel, you saved me from the death I'd thought I'd known.
The death I'd thought was inevitable.

But with your life you saved me,
and even though you don't understand that I thank you everyday.
My life would have been forever changed if not for the day that you breathed your first breath.

You are my Angel, my Everything.
And what makes it even sweeter is that you are my Brother.
You are but a year into life and you have saved a life with out meaning to.

That is why I write you this. to finally thank you publicly for saving my even though I know i don't deserve it.
I can never thank you enough,
nor can I thank the one who has brought you enough.
