Fanatasy Dreaming

Each little twinkle in the moonlit sky,
Tickles my fancy and catches my eye.
Each glittering soul in Heaven above,
Proves to me there is such a thing as love.
A love so perfect and heart so kind,
Someone always meant to be mine.
Prince Charming exists in Twilight dreams,
And fills my head to burst at the seams.
Knights arrive in armor shining,
Riding ivory horses from Sunset linings.
These appear in tales of days long gone,
Tales that disappear with dawn.
Better I focus on reality,
Listening to those who scold me constantly.
"Get your head down from the clouds,
Focus on what we have found!"
Laws cannot be proven wrong,
And hags can't sing the sirens' song.
Sorry, but this is simply me,
I've taken leave of normality.
To the Heavens, I turn my eyes,
And watch the glimmering bodies of the skies.
