Sing Goodbye

Sometimes when an old song plays
I think of you with every line they say
A song I once forgot or didn't want to hear
I' pretty sure the feeling in an artist is my mirror
You say you won't go and that you love me so
But one day you know somethings gonna change

That'll be the day I sing goodbye
That'll be the day I watch you walk away
And it'll be the next day when I slit my wrists
Because you chose someone off of your long list

Laying on the floor with my head in the toilet
Pain in my body I shouldn't feel
I better get used to this
'Cause there is no making a deal

When your mind is set you're ready to fly
You'll glance back once to see me cry
I'll miss you now forever
Even if you never return

That'll be the day I sing goodbye
That'll be the day I watch you walk away
And it'll be the next day when I slit my wrists
Because you chose someone off of your long list

Please don't run from me
You won't want to hear my plea
Communication I thought was key
Getting away from you could never come easily
I guess I'm used to being lonely

That'll be the day I sing goodbye
