Insecurity (I Will Delete You)

Love you deserve
Love you need
Security you deserve
Security you need
A father
A mother
A sister
A brother
A friend
Something's missing
Behind the candy coating
The lie you tell
Its I'm Fine

Love you will find
Security you will find
A father
A mother
A sister
A brother
A friend
You'll get whats missing
Behind the candy coating
You'll find happiness
The truth you'll tell
Its I'm Fine

I had insecurity
I wanted love
I lusted
I was insecure
I discovered love
I discovered security
My coating is real
I have happiness
I tell the truth
When I'm fine
Not always
But I remind myself
I love life

I fight for the truth
I fight for the insecurity to go
I fight for the world
I'm small
But I've been blessed

YOU deserve to smile
I HAVE a spot in my heart for you
My security is something that goes
When I'm not doing anything with it
I'm not perfect
I cry for you

Insecurity...Is human, but it doesn't deserve to own you.

Please, please don't hate this is a genuine poem, I MEAN IT, and if you guys liked it, found solace in it, please let me know, and for the insecure girls: Please don't let it own you, and I'm willing to talk when ever you might feel completely overwhelmed. This poem is aimed at people who struggle with insecurity, and it doesn't mean you are weak, nobody has no insecurity, and in the words of Jessie J: Tears don't mean your losing, everybody's bruising, its okay not to be okay.
