I'm Not Your Cinderella

You're not my prince charming,

I'm not a damsel in distress.

I don't need someone to save me,

When I can handle any mess.

No I don't wear glass slippers,

My curfew is AFTER midnight.

I don't have evil step-sisters,

They're actually the love of my life.

No towers, no curses, no spell casting,

There's no elves and certainly no dwarves.

I ain't wasting my life waiting for prince charming,

The only fairytale you'll find here is in a book on a shelf.
